Kerrzy’s Notebook: 15 Minutes of Fame

Happy Monday!

With the start of the week comes another episode of “15 Minutes of Fame,” the weekly sports-themed video blog featuring myself and Geoffrey Driscoll of Any Sport Any Time.

This week we’re discussing the latest surge by the Edmonton Oilers, which included a 5-0 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, and what has the team playing such inspired hockey, as well as the latest controversy out of the NFL: are the refs turning a blind eye when it comes to Michael Vick?

We’ve also got another installment of “The Gabbys,” or, the Good And the Bad, By You awards – our look at the three best and three worst teams/players/moments of the past week. This time around on the good side, a 15-game point streak, an unlikely Norris Trophy candidate and a journeyman goaltender struts his stuff!

Also, stick around for another “Quick Hits” segment where Geoff asks me about the two big “comebacks” of the week and whether or not the NFL is unfairly targeting Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison.

Don’t forget to send us your submission for next week’s edition of “The Gabbys” – shoot us a tweet @15MinutesYEG, get at us on Facebook or email us at!
