Kerrzy & Migs Friday WorkOut!

Happy Friday!

Not only does this wonderful day mark the end of the workweek (for most people), it also means that it’s time for another workout video from Kerrzy’s Notebook and Forca Freemotion Body (for everyone)!

Each week we’ll be going through a different workout, step-by-step, to help you unlock your potential and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Last week we hit up the kettlebells in a fierce pyramid scheme.

This week, the focus turns to cardio as Miguel takes us through a workout that’ll make you stop and stair:

For this workout it helps if you’re somewhere like Millennium Place in Sherwood Park, where there is a 235m track a set of stairs that has roughly 25-30 steps.

For the first fifteen minutes:

-Single steps up and down the staircase, five times
-Recovery lap around the track (50-60% intensity)

For the second fifteen minutes, it’s time to crank up the difficulty a bit:

-Double steps up and down the staircase, five times
-Recovery lap around the track (50-60% intensity)

It doesn’t sound like much, but once you give this one a shot you’ll most certainly feel the burn. Try to get up and down those stairs as many times as you can in that 30 minute time slot and then see if you can beat that number the next time you try it out!

Leave us a comment and let us know how you did! You can also get in touch with us at FWOEdmonton@gmail.com.
